I have not been posting for a long time. While I have been shooting quite a lot lately, I decided to show some work shot late in December last year. I have been quite busy with www.bodynsoulmodels.com. Will have to take time to visit all my friends on SC, who I have truly missed the last few months. Todays shot was shot during a shoot with 3 angels, (yes they called me charlie) this is part of what is called the piano sessions.

Lucky the photographer who is prepared and captures the moment for eternity. The colors of the Lioness blend well in with the surroundings here.

Jo-Ann
Model Credit: Jo-Ann from www.bodynsoulmodels.com So let's take a break from hai boxers, I have a few more to show, but can't wait to show this series. Suriname's most valuable export is it's people. Young and talented they leave the country in search of studies, training and a new future. Some come back (like I did after my studies in Brazil) others find a new homeland. But when the end of the years comes by, a lot of them return to Suriname to spent the festive season. And then the end of the year came by Jo-Ann also came. playing tennis in louisville, she might well be the next Serena Williams!!! or the next Anna Kournikova. I spotted her at the sportsclub during her summer recess. Found out she was a friend of my niece, we chatted over MSN and Facebook and decided to do a shoot at her overwintering in Suriname. So much energy!!! So much beauty and so much elegance. We did a portfolio shoot for 5 hours and produced numerous great looking images, I will post a few this week.. Let's hear it for Joey!!

Suelle Shepperd
Happy New Year to All. The busiest time of the year is almost over. So I can return to Shutterchance and photography. Meanwhile 64 of my buddies have been posting since I last visited SC, most of them more than once so I will take some time to see all the postings, and then resume to discover new buddies. I will feature a few more of the Thai Boxer series and am starting with Suelle Shepperd, the only female fighter to be featured. Suelle is a champion, as with the other featured fighters there is so much determination in her, it's incredible. More about Simson's Gym can be found at http://www.simsongym.com

Anthony Nekrui
Anthony Nekrui is the fourht fighter from Simson's Gym. At the same Thai Box Gala, where I saw Andy my previous post I saw Anthony finish a match before I was aware that the match had started, the bell went and the opponenent was knockout, at least it felt like that. Determined, focused and the eye of a champion!! I have had very little time to answer comments and even worse to visit my buddies blogs, Holiday season means a lot of social activities and very little time for the internet. I am sure it will all get relaxter somewhere in the second week of January, until then I'll try to visit and answer as much as possible without giving any guarantees.... Ok now off to the next party...

Andy "The Machine" Ristie
Andy "The Machine" Ristie is the third fighter from Simson's Gym. Kicking @$$. I do not often go to the matches, but have seen him in the ring at one match this year, and he was amazing!! After entering the stadium with a lot of show, i thought, hmmm, too bad if he looses his fight. Then the fight started and he sure knocked his opponent out, way to fast to remember how that happened. Then again not every likes these figting sports, for those of you that like clothing, he is featured in a Surinamese flag inspired short <smile> and he stole Mal's plastic sixpack holder <SMILE> Simson's Gym is on of Suriname's most popular Thai Boxing Schools, you can read more about them at http://www.simsongym.com/
